The story penned by Jeethu Joseph has been adapted for the fifth time onscreen…
The story of Drishyam has been told to us via various languages. We have to agree that the film’s plot is indeed intriguing. You may have seen one version of the film, but when you are watching the other version, the mystery factor still remains intact, and you are once again energised to watch a dhamakedaar climax. To top it all you have your favourite superstars as the lead, which makes the fun a lot more. With Mohanlal, V Ravichandran, Venkatesh, Kamal Haasan and Ajay Devgn having done this same film, we decided to check as to who was the best among them. Here's what you guys have voted for...
Kamal Haasan: 54.45%
Ajay Devgn: 7.22%
V Ravichandran: 1.36%
So we can clearly see that you fans loved Kamal Haasan's Papanasam the most. After all there is a reason why he is referred to as one of the best actors in India. Mohanlal was the first one who did the Malayalam version called Drishyam. This happened in 2013. The next year, we saw the release of two other versions. Mohanlal was followed by V Ravichandran in the Kannada version which was called Drishya. Then came Venkatesh with Drushyam, the Telugu version of the film. Finally, this year we had two other remakes of the film. Kamal Haasan made it in Tamil as Papanasam, which was later followed by Drishyam in Hindi, where Ajay Devgn played the central character.
Every version of the film has managed to become a blockbuster. The latest Hindi version also has been fairing decently at the ticket windows. Which other regional language do you want this film to be remade now? Shoot your thoughts in the comment section below.
