Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actress who is also a politician, has said that she has had a more difficult time in the entertainment business than Shah Rukh Khan. Kangana stated at an event in Delhi last week that no one from her little village has attained the same level of fame as she has. Opening up about her roots and her journey in Bollywood, Kangana said, "Why did I get so much success? There is probably nobody else who came from a village and got such success in the mainstream. You talk about Shah Rukh Khan. They are from Delhi, convent-educated. I was from a village that nobody would have even heard of – Bhamla."
