Check out what the actress had to say...
Kangana Ranaut has been surrounded with a lot of controversies these days and it may have taken a toll on her till now. But the actress put all this behind her and made her way to Delhi to attend the National Film Awards 2016. Earlier in the year, it was announced that the Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress would be awarded the Best Actress Award by President Pranab Mukherjee at the National Awards this year. The day has finally arrived and the actress will be receiving her award in just a while.
And just before she goes on the stage,
Kangana spoke to CNN-News18 where she said, "All these days I have not got a single good news, I am happy to be getting National Award today. National Awards a silver lining in all that is happening in my life. It is an opportunity for people to see my work, beyond controversies."
She was looking very joyous at the venue, but as she mentioned, her case against
Hrithik Roshan has taken its toll on her. She even took a sly dig at the actor and revealed that it is Hrithik who does not have any evidence. She told the popular channel, "People call me names but they don't have any factual evidence."
The actress will now be taking the stage soon along with Amitabh Bachchan and various celebs from Bollywood, Tollywood, Mollywood and other industries. What do you think about Kangana's latest dig at Hrithik? Tell us in the comments section below! Also check out how
