Kangana Ranaut, who is riding high on her National Award for Best Actress for Vikas Bahl's Queen, is now a highly revered actress in Bollywood. Coming from a small town and rising to stardom with no filmi background, Kangana has become sort of a role model for young aspiring girls from interiors of India. But her opinion on marriage might not go down well with the Indian parents.
At the trailer launch event of her next film Tanu Weds Manu Returns, when Kangana was asked about her marriage plans, this is what Ms Ranaut had to say," Working girls like us shouldn't get married before 35." While Kangana has made it clear that she is not planning to tying a knot anytime soon, orthodox section of society will not be too pleased with Ms Ranaut's advice to her followers to keep marriage aside for later.
We wonder if Kangana considers that marriage would come in the way of her acting career. While that might have been true few years back, actresses like Vidya Balan and Kareen Kapoor Khan are still one of the most sought after actresses in B-town despite their marital status. With Kangana putting marriage plans in back burner, looks like we will have to wait for seven more years before we hear wedding bells of Kangana's marriage.
