Actor Karan Patel who plays Raman Bhalla on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein finds himself in the news for mostly, the wrong reasons. However, this time the TV hunk has said something that every patriotic Indian will laud. The actor has been saying that the Indian Government needs to be act tough at the border. In fact, he exclusively told BollywoodLife that banning actors/films was never a solution. It was a futile exercise.
He had opined, "“I don’t know what to say. The point is people should send a strong message on the political level. They need to be strong and stern. If problems are happening at the border, let the Indian Government send out a message out there itself. Banning films and artists is futile. As an actor, I feel disheartened that it is a fellow actor from a different industry who has to face the flak every time. Films and TV are a form of entertainment and bring relief to masses. They help people forget their day to day woes for some time."
The actor tweeted a few days back that if people were really outraged then they should have shown their anger at the border and not at actors. He was one of the few who actually spoke when many chose to remain silent. After the surgical strikes today, the actor tweeted his appreciation for the Indian Government. The actor reiterated that India's silence should not be construed as weakness.
“Ache din aayenge, Jald hi hum, Karachi mein, apne bharat ke tirange ke neeche Sardiyo ki chuttiya manaenge …!! This is what he tweeted. The actor also posted a message on his Instagram account.
It is not only Karan Patel. Fellow actors from the TV industry like Pankhury Awasthy, Karan Tacker, Vikram Singh Chauhan have also expressed their happiness at the Indian Government giving it back at the LOC. Here is a look at the reactions...
