First: Finding something you enjoy! That's the first and most important thing. "Find something you enjoy because that is the only way you will stick to it. If you are doing a workout regime which stresses you out and you don't want to go to, then eventually your motivation is going to die out. So you need to do something you enjoy, there are so many things out there," says Namrata.
Second: Train with someone who knows what they are doing. "So always make sure your trainer is trained and certified correctly. That is extremely important because you are giving your body into someone's hands. You don't want to end up injured, you don't want to end up changing your body shape into something you don't want. The trainer should be able to understand your body shape, your goals, your targets and also be able to guide you in a healthy manner," she adds.
Third: Just focus on form, workout at least thrice a week. Try not to miss a workout for more than three days. So that should keep you on track!
While talking about Kareena Kapoor Khan's workout regime, she said, “Kareena came to me post Taimur, so naturally there was fat gain during her pregnancy. So we were looking into more weight loss, it was a regime where we focused a lot on cardiovascular exercises, as well as Pilates training which helped tone the body and get the body back into shape. The body had lost a certain amount of shape, also when you are bearing a child your balance is off center. So getting the body back into balance, getting the body moving again, we had to look into those kind of things.”
