On South superstar Suriya's 50th birthday, the teaser of his upcoming movie Karuppu has been unveiled by the makers. The Tamil-language action drama is helmed by RJ Balaji. The teaser has promised fans that the movie is going to be packed with some high-octane action sequences, seeti-maar dialogues and a gripping storyline. The teaser sees Suriya unleashing his most fearless and violent avatar in the 1-minute and 42-seconds long video. He plays two different avatars in the movie and both are equally thrilling.
What is Karuppu teaser all about?
The teaser of Karuppu begins with visuals of people praying to the deity. The narration shows that not the calm deity who is appeased with grace but the fierce one who is appeased with sincerity will provide instant justice. Suriya then makes a grand entry. He could be seen in a fierce avatar standing tall with holding an aruval or koduval. He also plays a lawyer named Saravanan in the movie. The visuals have left fans intrigued, especially the two different looks of Suriya. Fans are guessing what could be the plot given that both the characters appear different yet same. But among all, it is the Ghajini connection that has left fans rooting for Karuppu even more.

The makers are yet to share the release date of the film. Karuppu will mark the reunion of Suriya and Trisha Krishnan after 20 long years. The film also stars stars Swasika, Indrans, Yogi Babu, Sshivada, Natty Subramaniam, and Supreeth Reddy in pivotal roles.
