Kasautii Zindagi 2 is making a lot of news. Now, news has come in that Ssharad Malhotra has been finalised for the role of Anurag in the reboot of the iconic TV series. It seems the makers have locked in on the Kasam - Tere Pyaar Ki actor as Anurag. The handsome actor has to now only sign on the dotted lines. His previous show Kasam was also under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. Some rumours are also doing the rounds that Omkar Kapoor and Arslan Goni may also be a part of the show. We are not sure if they are in the reckoning for the role of Mr Bajaj or they may play close relatives of the lead pair. Both these guys are extremely good-looking and have worked in Bollywood projects in the past. Aly Goni's brother Arslan was seen in the film Jia Aur Jia with Richa Chaddha and Kalki Koechlin. Omkar Kapoor has been a part of the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series.
Omkar was one of the final choices for Dil Hi Toh Hai, which airs on Sony TV. However, the actor reportedly backed out at the end minute as he did not want to play a father. Maybe Ekta has a suitable role for him in Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2. Arslan Goni is brother of actor Aly Goni and a good friend of Ekta Kapoor. In the mean time, Hina Khan is confirmed for the role of Komolika. The actress will be back as the stylish vamp in the serial. Erica Fernandes is playing the new Prerna in the reboot.
