Katrina Kaif is a stunner and there are no two ways about it. Another known fact? She is probably the busiest star with big-ticket releases. The Bollywood actress who was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and Zero with Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen with the other Khan, Salman as well with Bharat which is all set to release this Eid. Katrina Kaif will also reunite with Akshay Kumar for Rohit Shetty's cop-drama, Sooryavanshi and we don't think it gets any better than this line-up.

Or so we thought. Because it just got better and how! According to a Mid-Day report, Katrina Kaif might make her debut in biopic genre with a film on celebrated athlete PT Usha. Buzz is that the film was first offered to Priyanka Chopra Jonas a few years back but that didn't work out and director Revathy S Varmha, who has also directed several successful Tamil and Malayalam movies, is now keen on casting Katrina. In fact, he apparently has had a few meetings with the actress to discuss the film that will chronicle the on-track journey of the Arjuna Award-winner who earned the nickname of Payyoli Express and has won as many as 101 international medals.
A source told the publication, "Revathy has had a few sittings with Katrina over the past few months. The duo met few days ago in Mumbai for another narration. While the actor seems to be interested in the project, she will take a call only after the final narration. If Katrina gives her nod, it will mark her first biopic." The insider also added, "She will have to undergo rigorous prep for the part, including adopting PT Usha's sprinting style. Since the athlete is on board, she is likely to supervise the actor." Needless to say, if the diva does give it a nod it will only bolster her foot in the ground and could prove to be a milestone in her career. That and also that it will be the second time she will fill in PeeCee's shoes. Remember the Bharat fallout?

Well, since there is no official confirmation yet, we will let this pan out and see where it goes (secretly hoping that she does the film). Meanwhile, Kat is about to get busy with Bharat promotions. Earlier in an interview with Zoom TV, speaking about her role, Katrina had said, "The role in Bharat for me is one of the best I’ve had in my life and I’m so happy and I was so filled while working on the film. Every day was exciting to go to work and to be on the sets. So I’m really very hopeful for the film and I’m really excited for everyone to see it."
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is all set to release on June 5.
