While we await with bated breath for Shah Rukh Khan to confirm his next starring role from among his several speculative projects doing the rounds, it seems that for now, we’ll have to contend ourselves with news of him producing films for others. If reports are to be believed, then the latest doing the rounds is that SRK is teaming with filmmaker Aanand L. Rai again after Zero, only this time, he’ll be coproducing the venture.

A story in Bombay Times claims that King Khan and Rai are reuniting for the Bollywood remake of Korean chic-flick Miss and Mrs. Cops, and that their reunion will be expanded with the addition of Katrina Kaif, who had delivered her career’s best performance in Zero. According to the BT article, Kaif has been roped in to play a cop in the remake, and there’s strong buzz that she’ll be heading the cast of this female-centric film. While nothing has been confirmed till now, we have our fingers crossed that this turns out to be true.

Miss and Mrs. Cops is an action-comedy, revolving around two female cops — a married police officer now stationed behind a desk after giving birth and her rookie, over-enthusiastic sister-in-law — who get a shot at proving themselves in a man’s world when a common case of a woman committing suicide opens up a can of worms, leading to a network of young men who drug, rape, and film women to upload the videos on the internet.
