Actor Harsh Chhaya is making his directorial debut with the upcoming film, Khajoor Pe Atke. The trailer of the film has been dropped today, and we are super impressed. Firstly we have to give it to Harsh for managing to assemble a stellar cast for his maiden film. Starring Manoj Pahwa, Vinay Pathak, Dolly Ahluwalia, Seema Pahwa, Sanah Kapoor, Suneeta Sengupta, Khajoor Pe Atke is definitely a movie which everyone, especially the middle-class, will relate to. Vinay and Manoj play brothers, who are living in different cities. They come to Mumbai when they learn about their seriously ill-brother, who is on his death bed. However, they are more interested in the ancestral property and touring the city of Mumbai rather than being by his side. It all becomes even more funny when the health of their brother neither improves, nor deteriorates. Harsh had first made his Television debut in the early '90s with Zee TV's series. Tara. However, he shot into the limelight when he played the role of Krishnakant Trivedi (KT) in mid-1990s TV series, Hasratein, where he portrayed the character of a wealthy boss who forced his married employee (Savi) into engaging in an extramarital affair. Harsh ventured into movies in the year 2000. His performance as a fashion designer in Madhur Bhandarkar's critically-acclaimed Fashion was also notable.
