Just a few more hours and we’ll soon witness the craziness that went on in Cape Town; where Rohit Shetty made 14 celebrities go crazy
I am eagerly waiting to see the sixth season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. From the promos I’ve seen, the show looks exciting, dangerous and absolutely thrilling. The stunts are news, the contestants are different and the level of torture is very high – just the way we want it. Earlier, we introduced you to four of the fourteen contestants. We’ll now introduce you to six more celebs who were a part of this crazy action packed drama in Cape Town.
Ashish Chowdhry: It is very important to spell the ‘Chowdhry’ right or Mr Ashish may get offended. The newly turned daddy of twins is probably one of the few actors who will openly accept that he has had a flop career in Bollywood. The last time I met him was at a press conference, where he was surrounded by girls all hanging on his every word. The man has a funny bone, I won’t deny that and off late he has started to look great onscreen, don’t you agree?
Rashami Desai: Her show on Colors, Uttaran, made everyone hate her because she portrayed a negative role. Of course the emotions changed when her character became positive. I’ve never really had the luck of meeting Rashami face to face because every time I get the chance something always crops up and Ms Desai’s plans get altered. However, a phone conversation with Rashami told me a lot about her. There is no doubt that Rashami is extremely down to earth, she loves to keep it simple and makeup is her saviour only when she has to make an appearance. Her chulbuli-ness is what make people love her, at least that’s what I fell for.
Iqbal Khan: He is a man of few words. Be it a telephonic conversation or a face to face meeting, Iqbal loves to keep it short and simple. At times he prefers to give monosyllabic answers too. He is very principled, and prefers to keep to himself. However, once you get to know him. He can be very humorous, so claim his close friends. Considering I’ve never had the opportunity to witness that I don’t guarantee that statement.
Ridhi Dogra: Even before she started her KKK journey, Ridhi was nervous. She was supposed to do KKK along with her hubby Raqesh Vashisht, but he had prior commitments. Nonetheless, Raqesh had trained Ridhi and given her ample of tips to perform well in the tasks. Now I am not sure how long she lasted in the game show, but it seems the actor attempted all the stunts and didn’t run away from anything. However, Ridhi claims that dancing and acting is her forte, but she never thought stunts would be part of her life.
Harshad Arora: The Beintehaa actor was a surprise package of the trip. Harshad is friendly, a little impatient but a complete gentleman. He loves to have his fun, but when it comes to work he knows how to be professional. The few times I spoke to him, he came across as someone who loves what he is doing and impatient to just keep doing more. Well I certainly love that spirit about him, wouldn’t you?
Hussain Kuwajerwala: He came into the limelight with his show Kumkum where he went from playing the second lead to the main lead. Hussain was a surprise find, but viewers loved him and the rest as they say is history. From the little I’ve seen of him, Hussain is a very patnivrata guy, which is rather cute. With respect to his work, he is a great host and a good actor. How he performs stunts, now that is something we’ll have to wait and watch.
