If you missed the popular show due to the India-Australia match, don't worry! We have all the highlights for you right here...
It’s the second day of the semi-final week on Arjun Kapoor’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and the tasks are getting tougher and tougher for the remaining seven contestants - Sana Saaed, Mukti Mohan, Raghav Juyal, Vivian DSena, Sidharth Shukla, Vivan Bhatena and Tanishaa Mukherji. Today, the show began with Mukti Mohan entering in a red dress and she looked every bit the diva. She then got Arjun Kapoor to shake a leg or two with her, before she was applauded by the other contestants for the way she looked. Later, Arjun revealed that today 6 contestants would move straight to the final week while one participant would be heading home. Here are the detailed highlights of the show:
# Arjun Kapoor mentioned that by this time next week, there will be one final winner. He talked about what was at stake for the winner – Rs 25 lakhs and a brilliant trophy.
# He has in his hand, Gaucho scarves, a local commodity to give away to all the contestants. But he has only six of them which means, one of them will be eliminated today, while the remaining will move straight to the finals.
# The first stunt for a direct ticket into the finals is called Ghumshuda! As per the last episode, Mukti, Vivian and Raghav have been chosen to do this task. As per the task the contestants have to maintain their support over a constantly vertically moving platform. The speed will keep increasing by the second and the contestants have to keep up to maintain their balance and remain on the platform. Once the contestant falls, the stunt is over.
# Vivian was the first one to begin the task. He had a good start and was maintaining good balance until the speed started to increase. He couldn’t calculate his next move properly because of which he slipped and fell. He remained on the platform for 1 minute 17 seconds.
# Next was Mukti who maintained good balance and was accurate in her calculations while moving on the rotating platform but she also slipped and fell. She was very disappointed as she believed she could have performed better. She remained on the platform for 1 minute 24 seconds.
# Last was Raghav who was quite confident as he believed balance was his forte. He maintained his balance beautifully and traveled around the rotating platform for a long time, keeping up with the increasing speed. He remained on the platform for 2 minutes 53 seconds, before slipping down.
# Obviously Raghav and Mukti were handed their gaucho scarves and Vivian was given the Fear funda band which meant he would have to go through the elimination stunt to head to the final week.
# The second stunt was a first ever partner head-on stunt. It was called Ilaka Tera, Dhamaka Mera. Two teams were created – Sidharth & Tanisha and Sana & Vivan.
# A bus was suspended in the air. The boys had to climb down a rope, then climb up another rope ladder and pull down a chain until their partner who was suspended in the air touched the ground. Then they had to climb down, unhook each other and run towards to a pile of mud. Then they would have to look for parts of a detonator, fix the parts together and insert them into the detonator. they had to then push it downwards to see if the bus burst into flames or not. Whichever team would finish this task first would move into the final round.
#Tanisha and Sidharth were leading as Sidharth steadily pulled the chain without giving up. Vivan and Sana could not catch up immediately, but they managed to do so after a while.
# Even though Tanisha and Sidharth were well ahead, they took time to unhook each other, but they still managed to finish before the other team.
# Tanisha and Sidharth then ran towards the mud pile to find the dis-jointed parts of the detonator. Vivaan and Sana followed. They were neck-to-neck in the last task.
# The boys looked exhausted while rummaging through the pile but the girls didn’t give up. It was only some time later, that Tanisha found all the parts. She and Sidharth fixed it together. And they pressed the detonator.
# As they finished the task first, Tanisha and Sidharth moved straight to the final week.
#Now Sana, Vivan and Vivian were to go through an elimination stunt to make it to the finale week.
# In the elimination stunt, the contestants were going to be locked in a cage underwater. The contestant had to unlock the 3 locks with the bunch of keys tied around their hand. Once the cage opened, they had to swim to the other end and touch the finish mark. The challenge here was that, the cage would keep rotating in water while they were trying to open the locks.
# Vivan went first and as he was exhausted after the task in the morning, he found it hard to keep up with the constant rotating cage. He was continuously asked to keep calm and he eventually finished the task after 4 minute and 24 seconds.
# Next was Sana. She was very calm throughout the challenge and opened the first lock very fast. The other two locks followed shortly and she finished the task in 2 minutes and 57 seconds.
# Last was Vivian, who struggled to maintain balance in the constantly moving cage. All the other contestant were asking him to keep trying, as he seemed to be losing control. He tried and tried and finished the task in 3 minutes and 54 seconds.
# Which meant that Sana and Vivian moved to the final week while Vivan was eliminated.
# The episode ended with the a glimpse of the special guests that would be present at the finale episode – Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karishma Tanna, Mouni Roy and Bharti Singh.
