Now that TV's funniest man has made a grand Bollywood debut, it is time to find out whether people loved his big screen debut more than his famous comedy TV show
One of the Bollywood's biggest superstars rose from the world of TV.
But that was almost two decades ago. Bollywood is still searching for the next Shah Rukh Khan to emerge from the small screen. But over the years, not many actors have actually managed to make the successful transition from TV to films. Joining the bandwagon of TV stars who got a big break in B-town is TV's funniest man Kapil Sharma. Known for his famous comedy TV show, Comedy Nights With Kapil, he has managed to win over millions of hearts. And now he has made the giant leap from TV to films with Abbas Mustan's Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.
Despite the critics panning the film, Kapil Sharma's debut flick has enjoyed a grand opening at box office, minting Rs 18.75 crore in just two days. While fans have thronged to theatres to see Kapil's antics in KKPK, you would have to admit it that he was in a different avatar in the film compared to his small screen avatar. And now that a lot of fans have watched KKPK, it is the right time to ask if they loved Kapil in Kis Kisko Pyaat Karoon or Kapil in CNWK.
Did you love Kapil's nervous comic timing and dramatics in the film? Or did you miss his usual slapstick, spontaneous humour from Comedy Nights With Kapil? Did you like his chemistry with Elli Avram and Varun Sharma more than his antics with Dadi, Guthi and Palak on the TV show? You decide! Vote!
