Kushal Tandon's fire stunt
While filming Maya (Jennifer Winget) and Arjun’s (Kushal Tandon) much-awaited wedding sequence, fire broke out on the sets of Sony’s popular TV show Beyhadh on Tuesday. Kushal jumped into the fire and pulled out Jennifer. He earned the title of 'Real Life Hero' by the netizens for his heroic act and rightly so. If it wouldn't have been him, the actress could have got seriously injured. The episode garnered a lot of attention from the media and even became the top trend on google for a brief period.
Sriti Jha's transformation in Kumkum Bhagya
Sriti Jha, who plays the role of Pragya in Zee TV's popular show Kumkum Bhagya, received a lot of attention for her stunning transformation in the show. In a bid to convince to the world that she can carry both western and traditional clothes nicely, Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) gave Pragya a fashion makeover. Pragya became the center of attraction as she walked in a stylish black midi in Abhi and Tanu's bachelor party. Her transformation became the talk of the town and the ardent followers of the show faced a difficult time waiting for the episode to air.
Karan Patel's cross-dressing act
Male lead of Star Plus' popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Karan Patel, left his fans shocked when he shared a new promo of the show on his Instagram account. Cross-dressed as Gulabo, Karan looked totally unrecognizable in the clip. It left people confused and anxious both at the same time. Later, we got to know that it's a part of a new twist on the show. His charatcer, Raman, will be seen cross-dressing as Gulabo to meet his estranged wife Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and daughters Ruhi and Pihu. His transformation is expected to help the show climb up on the TRP charts.
Shruti Ulfat's cobra controversy
In a shocking turn of events, Shruti Alfat and three other members from her production team – Nitin Solanki, Utkarsh Bali and Pearl Puri got booked by Mumbai Range of Thane Territorial wing of the forest department for using spectacled cobra, protected species under Wildlife Protection Act, Schedule 2 for the shoot of the show Nagarjun Ek Yodha. The case is in court now.
Zee Rishtey Awards
Zee Rishtey Awards 2017 look place on February 5 in Mumbai. The event was attended by the who’s who of the television industry. Sriti Jha, who plays lead role of Pragya in Kumkum Bhagya, became the talk of the town as she walked away with three awards – Best (Favourite) Bahu, Favourite Kirdar and Best Jodi award with co-star Shabbir Ahluwalia.
