We hear reports that police started a lathi-charge on the sets of Salman and Bebo's film to diffuse the hordes of fans
It is no news that ever since the shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan has started, Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's fans have tried their level best to catch a glimpse of their stars in action. While the gesture is endearing, it has hampered the process of shooting. The most harried of all is director Kabir Khan who finds it very difficult to shot with Salman-Bebo fans thronging the sets.
The latest news is that an over-zealous group of fans turned into hooligans and disrupted the shoot of the film so much so that a lathi-charge had to be issued by the police to contain them. A source on the sets of the film which is currently being shot in the quaint town of Mandawa, Rajasthan said ,"The policemen had a tough time keeping onlookers at bay as they kept gathering in large numbers to see Salman and Kareena. When the crowd became unmanageable, the police had to use force. The shoot was called off and the actors were asked to stay in their vanity vans till the situation became normal."
But the director of BB, Kabir Khan has denied the reports outright and said, "There was no lathi charge here," perhaps in an attempt to avoid controversy. The film will release on Eid this year.
