As per latest reports coming in, legendary Punjabi comedian and actor, Jaswinder Bhalla, passed away at the age of 65. He breathed his last at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Reportedly, he was unwell for sometime. His last rites will take place on August 23 at Balongi. Jaswinder Bhalla's career spanned over three decades. In recent times, he was best known for playing Advocate Dhillon in Carry on Jatta. He was a part of all the three instalments of the movie. On social media, friends and fans are mourning the loss.
On social media, fans are calling Jaswinder Bhalla's demise a great loss to the industry. One of the mourners wrote, "RIP to one of the greatest Punjabi actors ever known. You will be missed by entire Punjabi community all around the world. May your soul rest in peace. Om shanti."

My first memory of you is the "Chhankata" video series. Used to await the next part eagerly. Then you were an integral part of the rise of Panjabi cinema in the 2010s.

Jaswinder Bhalla started his filmy career with Dulla Bhatti that released in 1999. He appeared in quite a few successful movies like Jatt and Juliet, Sardaar Ji, Carry on Jatta and many more.
