The beauty got candid like never before with Look Who's Talking season 2's Niranjan Iyengar. Check out these 7 revelations she made on the chat show!
Look Who's Talking Season 2 has kick started with a bang. The host of the show Niranjan Iyengar started the series with Varun Dhawan and today's episode saw Anushka Sharma getting candid like never before! The beauty often refrains from talking about her relationship with India's ace cricketer Virat Kohli. In tonight's episode however, she opened about the same and revealed something truly shocking about her partner. She even went on to spill some beans on working with ex-flame Ranveer Singh again and superstar Shah Rukh Khan in her debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Read on to know these 7 mind blowing revelations made by Anushka:
"Virat played a match the day his father died."
India is too quick to judge a sportsman, especially cricketers. Everyone blamed Anushka for Virat's poor performance at India vs Australia semi finals, during World Cup 2015. Anushka opened up about the experience, stating that people judge and make assumptions, without realizing what the sportsman has to go through." Virat played a match the day his father died," revealed Anushka. We bet not many people know this. This was in the year 2006, where Virat batted at IPL to save Delhi. That morning at 3 am, Virat's father had passed away.
"In my first scene with SRK, I had to look at him and say that I wasn't in love with him"
Anushka opened up about her experience on working with Shah Rukh Khan in her debut movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The actress stated that though she was nervous she looked at the film as work, and in a practical manner. She went on to reveal details on her first scene with SRK, stating that she had to tell him she's not in love with him which was hard. We bet it was!
"Ranveer and I are extremely comfortable with each other, don't know what it is."
When asked on how her experience was while working with Ranveer, the beauty stated that she and the actor share a comfort level which cannot be explained. We have never heard Anushka say that before!
"Those actresses who say they are not insecure, are lying"
Anushka got candid, while talking about the fierce competition prevailing in the industry. The beauty clearly stated that she's extremely competitive herself, but not in an unhealthy way. Anushka confessed that she feels insecure at times as well and declared that those actresses who claim they aren't insecure, are lying. Whoa, that's a rocking statement Anushka!
" In this industry, if you are doing well, people will talk to you. If not, they won't. Koi apna nahin hai"
The beauty gave her fans a crystal clear picture on how Bollywood functions. Anushka clearly stated that friendships in the industry are based on how well the actor is doing. True that!
"I was upset when Asin got the débutante award"
Whoa! Now this one we didn't see coming. Anushka had made her Bollywood debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and so did Asin with Ghajini. The latter however received the Filmfare Award for best newcomer and this apparently upset Anushka, solely because Asin was already an established actress in the south. Makes sense, doesn't it?
"Male actors have more insecurities then actresses."
Anushka spoke at length about the myth of two actresses never being friends, existing in Bollywood. She discussed the close bond she shares with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. The beauty went on to discuss how actresses are only thought to be bitchy or insecure. Anushka stated that this belief pertains, particularly regarding females in the industry. "Male actors are insecure as well, in fact they are more insecure than female actors," revealed Anushka.
