Maha Shivratri is being celebrated all across India today and to commemorate the festival, Kailash Kher and Prasoon Joshi have paid a tribute to Lord Shiva with a really captivating song titled Adiyogi - The Source of Yoga. The melodious number pays homage to the first yogi – Lord Shiva and we have to say we were mesmerised by the song. Sung and composed by Kailash Kher and penned by Prasoon Joshi, Adiyogi – The Source of Yoga, will help you find inner peace. If you want to calm yourself down, perform yoga, listen to soothing music or want to change your mood, this is the go to song.
Apart from the song, the visuals are also breathtaking. From the sunrise to sunset, the clouds, the rivers, the mountains and the yoga postures - everything looks stunning on screen. And we have to say the director and the DOP have done a great job. The video has been produced by the Isha Foundation (a non-profit organisation) and we are really happy that they took this initiative. The song is really soothing and the melodies are fantastic. And we are sure if you like soothing numbers, this song can be a part of your playlist. Check out the whole song here...
The unveiling of the Adiyogi song will be a part of the largest Maha Shivaratri celebrations in the country at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu).
