Post the tremendous success of Srimanthudu, Mahesh Babu to implement the good message of the film in real life too
Mahesh Babu is in cloud nine post the worldwide success of his latest entertainer Srimanthudu. The film not only gave him a much needed hit but also became the second Telugu film to cross Rs 100 crore business at box office.
And now we hear that, Mahesh Babu, taking a leaf out of Srimanthudu, will be spreading its social message by adopting and developing one of his native village soon. The Telugu superstar will be adopting a village called Burripalem near Tenali in Guntur district, just like the way Harsha aka Mahesh Babu did in Srimanthudu. Speaking to the media, Mahesh Babu confirmed," After completing two schedules of Srimanthudu, my brother-in-law Jay Galla suggested that I should follow suit and adopt my native village Burripalem. However, if I had adopted Burripalem then, people would have rubbished it as a promotional strategy for Srimanthudu. I am going to adopt Burripalem in a few months and an official announcement will be made in this regard soon."
What is interesting to note is that works of development in Burripalem were earlier conducted by Mahesh Babu's grandmother and father. Now Mahesh follows the suit.
