Manmarziyaan writer Kanika Dhillon on tying the knot with Atrangi Re writer Himanshu Sharma: The qualities he has can rarely be found

Kanika Dhillon and Himanshu Sharma exchanged wedding vows two days ago in the presence of close family and friends.

Popular writer Himanshu Sharma, who penned films like Atrangi Re, Raanjhanaa and others, recently tied the knot with Manmarziyaan and Rashmi Rocket writer Kanika Dhillon in a private ceremony. While the impromptu engagement of the duo grabbed our attention, Kanika opened up the reason behind that and told E Times, “Himanshu had just wrapped up Atrangi Re. Our families were here with us at that time. We thought we may not get a better opportunity to bring everyone who matters to us together so easily. So, we decided to get married in their presence and with their blessings. Even the engagement had happened in a similar fashion because both of us are swamped with work, and in the present times, it’s very difficult to have everyone around us at the same time. COVID19 is still here. Kanika also revealed that the duo will soon move to their new love-nest as she asserted, “Himanshu had been doing up his new house while juggling all the work on his plate. It was difficult but he did it for us. Describing her relationship with hubby, Kanika Dhillon said, “It’s a complete win-win to have someone so inspiring as a life-partner. There’s never a dull moment between us. Himanshu and I are never at a loss of words which makes things very exciting. Himanshu, as a companion, is the kind of person who will only help you blossom as a person and as a professional. We do end up discussing work when one of us is stuck somewhere. He has set a high benchmark as a companion.
