Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War has finally released in China and boy oh boy has it taken a massive opening! The superhero film is off to a flyer as it earned more than $10 million through the Thurdsday paid previews itself. With that, the film not only surprised one and all, but it also beat The Fate of the Furious' record to to register the highest Thursday preview collections till date. As trade analyst and industry tracker - Ramesh Bala revealed to us on Twitter, "#AvengersInfinityWar rolls into #China in Style. All-time No.1 Thursday Previews Debut with $10.06 Million. Beating #FateOfTheFurious 's $9.95 Million."
Earlier, Avengers: Infinity War had raked in nearly $50 million from the pre release sales itself. It had beaten The Fate of the Furious' advance booking record and become the film with the highest pre release sales collection too. So clearly, Avengers: Infinity War is on a roll and will continue breaking records in China. Considering the fact that the Chinese audience loves superhero films and this particular film had generated a massive buzz and interest in the country, we always knew Avengers: Infinity War would have a tremendous run at the China box office. But can it become the highest opener and highest grosser in China? Well, we will have to wait and watch out to see if it happens, but it seems quite possible.
