Amid COVID-19 pandemic, Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi's Master was released at the box office and it turned out to be a huge winner as it grossed over Rs 200 crore globally. Earlier, we had shared the news that the Hindi rights of the film has been bought by the Kabir Singh producer Murad Khetani and now the latest reports suggest that the makers have approached Salman Khan to play Thalapathy Vijay's role. While the actor has liked the concept, he will decide to come on board after listening to the bound script. The discussions are at very nascent stage as the makers feel they have to tweaked some of the elements to suit the Hindi audience. The next narration with Salman Khan is expected to happen in the new few months.
Though it will be interesting, whom the makers approach for the character of Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan. The original film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and the music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan will be next seen in Prabhudheva's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which is scheduled to hit the screens during the Eid weekend. The film, which is the adaptation of the Korean film, The Outlaws, also features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Gautam Gulati and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. The film will lock horns with John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar's Satyameva Jayate 2, which is directed by Milap Zaveri. The actor will reportedly start the shooting of Tiger 3 soon, where he will reprise his role of RAW Agent Tiger. Also starring Katrina Kaif in a lead role, the film will be directed by Fan and Band Baaja Baaraat helmer Maneesh Sharma and produced under the reputed banner of Yash Raj Films.
