Labels and tags! Haven't we always been told that those are for clothes? What happens what people are tagged and labelled? We just need to look around for the answer. A new web series, titled Untag, is on its way that narrates the story of 6 people who cross paths with society's tendency to tag.
Meiyang Chang, who rose to fame with Indian Idol, plays a man with a MBA degree, a propensity for poetry, and yet is known by the tag "gay". This is quite a bold step by Chang to play the character.
Dipanita Sharma, plays a career oriented woman, whom the society would rather prefer to call a 'man eater'.
Shiv Pandit also stars in the show and plays Prithvi Sihag, who is tagged as "cold and calculative" due to his career choices. Now, we are not very sure how that tag rolls out on the screen, but we have Shiv's handsome face on screen, so it's definitely worth a shot.
VJ Andy, whom we totally loved on Bigg Boss, plays Cyrus Singaporia, a "'bitch' in the dog eat dog world". We are sure Andy is going to be as witty as we know him to be in real life, in this fiction show as well. He is anyday a laugh riot.
Apart from Meiyang, Dipanita Sharma, Shiv Pandit, Andy - Untag also stars Naveen Polishetty, as the 'Coward' and Anjali Anand, as the 'Fat'. The series will be aired on Voot, and will be a light hearted one. It aims it inspiring people to rise above the tags assigned to them by the society.
