Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’s Ranveer (Shakti Arora) and Ishaani (Radhika Madan) are gearing up for their wedding AGAIN. While the couple is too much in love they are blissfully unaware of Milan, Ranveer’s twin brother who is all out to spoil their wedding. Ranveer’s poor health is also a cause of concern for Ishaani.
The buzz is that Milan will sedate Ranveer before the wedding and take his place at the mandap. Will Ranveer be able to reach the venue on time or will Ishaani find something’s amiss and call off the wedding? While these are unanswered questions, the actors are busy preparing for the sequence. Utkarsha Naik who plays Amba (Ranveer’s mom) on the show shared some pictures of the actors in their wedding finery.
Shakti who wore a golden sherwani for his first wedding with Radhika is seen wearing a maroon sherwani this time round. Besides suits, he has been mostly seen in wedding clothes throughout this year on the show. The actor, who loves Pathanis seems to enjoy wearing traditional Indian formal outfits. The handsome actor was seen in fitted bandhgalas in two award functions this year.
We loved Radhika’s pout in the picture as well. She is wearing a traditional red and white Gujarati ensemble. Considering the heavy sarees and jewellery Utkarsha wears on the show on regular non-festive occasions, the amount of bling on her and Laxmi masi is not surprising.
While wedding sequences seem to be now commonplace in Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, we would have liked to see something different, like a destination wedding or even a simple ceremony for the two lovers. As regular viewers will know, elaborate weddings have never been successful on the show. There is always trouble lurking in the corner for our cute lovebirds.
