The current track bears a strong resemblance to South superstar Vikram’s big-budget thriller
Last night, we saw how Ishaani (Radhika Madan) wows to save Ranveer (Shakti Arora) from the ill-effects of the drug given to him by Milan (Shakti Arora). She tracks down the lab where the drug was manufactured and finds out that it was indeed Milan who bought the untested virus it from the manager for a hefty amount. She rushes to the jail after that where policemen tell her that Ranveer is ill. When she gets close, he hides his face and tells her to avoid him.
In the coming episodes, we will see Ishaani bringing Ranveer home for treatment. He will then hand over all his property to Ishaani as he is unsure about his life. He will tell Ishaani to stay away from him but she will remind him of the marriage vows and says that she won’t leave him for anything.
Later, we will see Shikhar (Arjun Bijlani) coming in to save Ranveer for the court of law. It will be a special cameo from the Naagin actor, who got quite a fan following from the show.
We could not help but notice that the current virus track is inspired by Vikram’s hit film, I. Fans will remember that in the film, Vikram aka Lingesan loses his looks due to a strange virus. He becomes bald and hunchbacked. While we don’t see that happening in Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, the track does give a sense of déjà vu.
