#METoo – Adhyayan Suman: I was shamed and humiliated when I shared my story 2 years ago

And while many other stories are coming out, Adhyayen Suman, son of actor Shekar Suman, opened up about his #MeToo moment.

After actress Tanushree Dutta opened about how she was harassed by Nana Patekar during the shooting of her 2008 film Horn Ok Pleass, many actress, journalist and women from various walks of life are coming out revealing the incidents they faced in their life. Top celebrities of Bollywood like Sajid Khan, Alok Nath and Rajat Kapoor among many others have all been accused of sexual harassment who are now under scrutiny of authorities. And while many other stories are coming out, Adhyayan Suman, son of actor Shekar Suman, opened up about his #MeToo moment and posted a series of tweets about it.

Adhyayan said that he was humiliated and shamed two years ago when he shared his story and his parents were his only support during the tough phase. "A lot of people asking me to share my #metoo story..iam sorry but when I did that 2 years ago I was shamed and humiliated...my parents whom I love the most had to listen to some obscene things on National tv ..I was clearly told that a guy with a failed career doesn’t Have the right to share his pain full and dark experience [sic]," tweeted Adhyayan Suman referring to the incident with his ex-girlfriend Kangana Ranaut.

For people who are unaware, Adhyayan Suman and Kangana Ranaut were dating for a while during the shooting of Raaz: The Mystery Continues. But post the release of their film, their relationship turned sour after the two accused each other of harassment, cheating behind their back and physical abuse. However, things faded over a period of time and Adhyayan Suman stayed away from films but Kangana Ranaut rose in ranks in Bollywood.
