After calling out Alia Bhatt and her mother, Soni Razdan on social media, Kangana Ranaut's sister, Rangoli Chandel, has now lashed out against actor Ajay Devgn. Chandel, who is vocal about her thoughts like Kangana, took to Twitter and shared Tanushree Dutta's open letter, wherein the actress has called Ajay Devgn and the makers of De De Pyaar De hypocrite for working with Alok Nath. "It is because of these men our country is a black spot on the world map as far as crimes against women are concerned, shame on you Bollywood for mocking #MeToo," wrote Rangoli.
In Tanushree's open letter to Devgn, the actress had mentioned how the De De Pyaar De actor had sworn to never work with those accused and the actor is now all of sudden working with sexual harassment accused Alok Nath. Rangoli went on to support Tanushree's open letter and added that these men are intoxicated with power and money and are teasing the movement by supporting fellow harassers and slyly mocking the victims.
Even when the trailer of De De Pyaar De released, the makers received severe backlash for casting Alok Nath. At the trailer launch, Ajay chose to stay mum about the same and dodged the question stating, "This is not the right place to talk about it. The film was completed before the allegations surfaced against the concerned person." Following this, Vinta Nanda, the one who accused Alok Nath of allegedly raping her nearly 19 years ago, had slammed Devgn for working with the actor.
Likewise, Tanushree Dutta and Rangoli Chandel are also not happy with Ajay working with Alok Nath, who was accused of sexual harassment in the wake of the #MeToo movement.
