Milap Zaveri who worked magic with a tragic love story Marjaavaan is all set to take he Satymeva Jayate franchise forward with the second installment. The director revealed, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, that he is planning to take it up a notch higher. The first part of the film was a huge success and people loved John Abraham's action avatar and even the story of the film. Satyameva Jayate 2 is touted to be a vigilante action-drama-thriller which co-star Divya Khosla Kumar opposite John Abraham.
Talking about the second part, Milap told Mirror, "The first film dealt with corruption, but with Part 2, corruption in all spheres—from the police to politicians, industrialists, the common man—will be tackled," he went on to add saying, "It is situational, in the Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore zone. There are moments in the film where John will play to the gallery."

The filmmaker further revealed that he has got on board the National award-winning action-director duo Anbu and Arivu to set the action sequences in Satyameva Jayate 2. "We have already started working on the action. I am finding new things for John to tear apart now. He is my Hulk and I believe he can smash anything," he told the portal. Milap went on to add that two songs have been locked for the film, however, they are still hunting for the locations of the film.
Milap went on to add, "Like Sylvester Stallone has done Rambo, I will keep making Satyameva Jayate with John addressing new issues. He will keep growing older but will continue to fight corruption in the series. His personal aesthetic in films is more in the realistic zone, but he often jokes that Milap’s films are his cheat days."
