Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya threw a birthday bash for all her close friends from the show and industry pals yesterday. The gal’s party was attended by almost everyone from the Saath Nibhaana Saathiya team barring a few. Vishal Singh, Tanya Sharma, Paras Tomar, Amarr Upadhyaya, Utkarsha Naik, Khalid Siddique and many others were seen letting their hair down at the do. Producer, Rashmi Sharma also attended the party with husband, Pawan.
However, Rupal Patel, who plays Kokila, gave it a miss as did Mohammad Nazim (Ahem), Lovey Sasan (Paridhi) and Vidya (Sonam Lamba). Surprisingly, these are the actors with whom she has maximum scenes.

Many of us were curious to know that why didn’t Nazim attend the party as he is known to be a close friend of the actress. Rumour makers had already got to work and started saying that maybe they are not friends anymore. But, the hunk has a legitimate reason for not attending the party.
He told an entertainment daily, “It is rather funny and unreal. I had an early morning shoot and had thus woken up early. So when I came back home at around 8 pm, I thought I will take a bath and nap for some time since we were to reach by 10-11 pm. I had even selected my outfit but I slipped into a deep slumber. I suddenly woke up at 1 am and was shocked realising I had missed the party. I had several calls of Devo and I called her in the morning to apologise profusely. I know I cannot make up for it and it was rather silly.”
