Tamil top star Suriya Sivakumar will collaborate with Irudhi Suttru director Sudha Kongara soon after completing his current projects. The film is said to be an intense drama and will have a stellar star cast. And according to latest reports, the makers may have signed on a veteran actor from Telugu cinema as the antagonist. Reports suggest that Tollywood veteran actor Mohan Babu may be seen playing the villain in the yet untitled film. Apparently, the role demanded an intense and experienced actor to portray the characteristics and it was Suriya who suggested they rope in Mohan Babu.
Apparently, Suriya personally spoke with Mohan Babu and convinced him for the role in the film, reports reveal. Mohan Babu is yet to sign the dotted line and a formal announcement is expected to be made in the near future. The film is yet to be titled and may go on floors towards the end of this year.
Suriya is currently shooting for NGK which is directed by Selvaraghavan and is their first-time collaboration. Said to be a rebellious intense drama, NGK also stars Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi as the leading ladies. ALSO READ: Big Announcement! Besides NGK, Suriya also has an untitled film with KV Anand which also has a heavy star cast. Being referred to as Suriya 37, the film stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in a pivotal role. The shooting of the film was kicked off in London last month and the makers shot few scenes with Suriya and Mohanlal.
