The eighth and final season of the fantasy drama - Game Of Thrones premiered today. The ardent followers of this series are having mixed feelings. They are excited to watch the show but at the same time are feeling sad it comes to an end. Months ago, when the official teaser of GoT season 8 was released online, fans got nostalgic and teary-eyed. Game Of Thrones 8 teaser showcased the three siblings- Sansa, Jon Snow, and Arya Stark walking through the crypts of Winterfell. As they continued walking, the trio saw the statues of their dead parents and themselves. The one and a half minute teaser was enough to make the audience curious to watch the final season.
After the teaser release, while the makers tried their level best to keep everything under the wraps, there were spoilers surfacing on the web every other day. However, all of that doesn't matter now as winter has finally come. And people are jumping with joy to watch Game Of Thrones 8. Game Of Thrones created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss is coming to an end. And we don't know whether to laugh at these memes or cry while watching the episodes of the last season. GoT, an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, premiered on April 17, 2011. Set in the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones had several plots and a large ensemble cast, but followed three story arcs.
The eighth season will have only six episodes. However, the duration of each episode will be long as compared to previous seasons. The runtime of the first episode will be 54 minutes, followed by episode 2 which will go on for 58 minutes and the third episode will run for an hour.
The runtimes for the last three episodes will be 78 minutes, 80 minutes and 80 minutes. Following which, the curtains will be brought down on Game Of Thrones.
