With so many twists and turns at almost every point in the film, this one looks like it's going to be a helluva entertainer. One of the things that's left us impressed is Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor's interesting camaraderie. This is the first time the chacha-bhatija jodi is coming together on screen for the first time and fans are so looking forward to it! I mean, that's one of the main reasons why we are getting impatient for the film. Because c'mon, we all know that both Arjun and Anil are pretty good at pulling off a comedy. Since the trailer of Mubarakan is here, we have got you a list of some of the best moments that the uncle and nephew share in it. Let's take a look... Meet Karan and Charan Singh...
Arjun Kapoor's double role in this film as Karan and Charan Singh is something to watch out for! Both Karan and Charan are so different from each other. They are poles apart, quite literally! But we don't think anyone, apart from Arjun, could have played this role any better. Hmm...interesting!
#When Kartar Singh (Anil Kapoor) says, "Binki ka naam sunte he monkey ki bum ki tarah muh lal hogaya"
I know, I know. It's not very funny maybe...but just look at how he says it! I mean, isn't Anil Kapoor looking way too cute and handsome in that turban, while mouthing those lame dialogues?
#That scene where Anil goes like, "Goli maaro unn buddhon ko...Baat aapas mein he rakhte hai...youth mein"
C'mon! Now you have to admit this...Anil is handsome, dashing and looks way younger than his age. Hmm, So we wonder as to why did Karan Singh and Charan Singh gave him that look when he said that. Tee hee hee.
The best one...When Anil says, "Badi urdu jhaad reya hai tu"
This comes towards the end, where Charan Singh is trying to convince Kartar Singh that his fiance has got nothing to do with Mughals. The discussion was rather vague but the the manner in which Anil Kapoor says that dialogue, it's sure to make you chuckle!
Lastly, the dance sequences...
The trailer shows a glimpse of dance sequences of Karan and Charan Singh and from what it looks like, it promises to be a double dose of entertainment.
Directed by Anees Bazmi, the film also stars Athiya Shetty and Ileana D'Cruz in key roles. Mubarakan is due to release on July 28.
