It is a classic case of a comedy of errors. On Wednesday, two people from Palghar district were arrested on the suspicion of being terrorists. It seems they were extras on the untitled film of Hrithik Roshan - Tiger Shroff. Regional news channel TV9 Gujarati shared the picture of the two and wrote, "After an hour-long search operation, Mumbai police arrested 2 men suspected to be terrorists, but later turned out to be extras on the sets of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's upcoming action film." It seems some residents of Vasai notified the police about two 'suspicious looking men' roaming around in bomber vests. They were strolling around and purchasing cigarettes. The cops launched a hunt for them.
After looking around, the cops finally caught them. Later, they were identified as junior artistes/extras in the untitled film of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. As per India Today, the film's production unit had to submit papers before the cops to get them released. They were identified as Balram Ginwala (23) and Arbaaz Khan (20). However, the cops lodged a complaint against Section 188 of the IPC for creating a public nuisance.
The Siddharth Anand film that hits the theatres on October 2 is an out and out action extravaganza. It has been shot in countries like Portugal and Sweden along with sequences in Lake Como and Amalfi Coast. Vaani Kapoor is the leading lady of the film. Siddharth Anand told PTI, "We want to stand apart and redefine how action films are made in Bollywood. We are shooting in Spain, Georgia, Italy, Portugal and Sweden and of course India. Some of the biggest action sequences will be shot in these countries." Stay tuned to BollywoodLife for more scoops and updates!
