Naagin: Mouni Roy’s Sridevi moment is finally here!

She will dance on the iconic Main Teri Dushman number from Sridevi's blockbuster

When Naagin was launched, we expected Shivanya (Mouni Roy) or Shesha (Adaa Khan) to be dancing to Sridevi’s chartbuster Main Teri Dushman from Nagina. However, we did not see much of dancing from either Shivanya or Shesha. Mouni, of course, did a tandav, which was extremely graceful.

In the coming episodes, we will see dancing to Main Teri Dushman. Like Sridevi, she is also wearing a white lehenga choli. However, the moves are somewhat different. Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) is also there in the scene. The dance number will wrap up the first season of Naagin.

Main Teri Dushman is one of Sridevi’s most loved dance numbers. Fans are still gaga about it. Described as the ‘stuff of movie legends’, the song was in the climax of Nagina.

An excited Mouni Roy shared a video of the performance on Twitter. As fans know, dance is extremely close to her heart. A trained Kathak dancer, Mouni gives performances across the world. The lady grabs up an opportunity to shake a leg and she did a number of shows throughout last year. She told BollywoodLife, "I have always wanted to dance on this number. It is a brilliant composition. Unfortunately, there wasn't much time to rehearse so we managed what we could."

We are sure that zillions of Naagin fans will be waiting expectantly for this dance performance. Will Mouni be able to recreate Sridevi’s magic? Fans and Bollywood buffs might have different opinions about the song being recreated for TV but there’s no denying that Mouni is one of the best choices to bring alive Sridevi’s magic.
