She’s talented, beautiful and craves for different experiences. Television actress Mouni Roy whom we better known as Devi Sati from Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev is an avid reader and traveller. At a recent event, when Bollywoodlife spoke to her, she said, “I love books and travel. In the future, if I quit acting then I will do something related to books or tourism.” The actress who has studied English Honors from Miranda House in Delhi is a huge fan of Shakespeare. This is why she made sure she visited Stratford Upon Avon on her recent trip to London. She says, “I need a break after a foreign trip as I pack in a lot. After sightseeing, doing shows in the evening, I explore the nightlife too. My manager gets exhausted (laughs out loud).” She also reveals that she always chooses shows where she gets to travel and doesn’t mind if the money is lesser.
Mouni further confessed that she is a huge fan of William Shakespeare’s works and has read all his works. “My favourites are Hamlet, Othello and King Lear. Visiting Stratford Upon Avon was a dream come true for me. I saw his house and the Shakespeare museum.” She is also a fan of William Wordsworth. No wonder, her Twitter bio reads A Jane Austen heroine in a Christopher Nolan world! She also spoke about her wanderlust. Mouni has visited places like the US, Mauritius, Maldives, London, etc. “I like to go holidaying with family members or friends. At times, I travel alone.”
Lastly, when she was questioned on whether she feared unemployment as she is extremely choosy with her work. “I have never been insecure. I am quite contented,” she said signing off.
