The elimination rounds in Nach Baliye 8 have begun and the first couple to be ousted from the show are Utkarsha Naik and Manoj Verma. The show continued with Hrithik Roshan present as one of the guests. Today's episode kickstarted with Aashka Garodia and Brent Goble's performance. Their tapori act was much loved by the judges and the audience. Both the stars let go off their guard and delivered an entertaining act. The next person to take centrestage were Dipika Kakar and Shoiab Ibrahim. The duo had a rather intense act planned. With the army jawans as their theme, the duo gave a spectacular performance. As soon as the act was over, Dipika broke into tears as it reminded her of her father. The performance was actually a tribute to her dad.
After such a tearjerker performance came Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande on the stage. They chose to merge classical with Kala Chashma and present an interesting act. We totally loved it and so did the judges. It was refreshing, different and something out of the box. Post them came the lowest scorers, Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani. The couple may be the cutest but their first performance on the Nach platform wasn't well appreciated. Mohit was severely criticised for his moves, which left him in a bad space. However, in today's episode he bounced back. Swaying to the tunes of Tum He Ho, Sanaya and Mohit were a delight to watch. The final performers of the night were Utkarsha Naik and Manoj Verma. While the duo put in their best efforts, they were unable to woo the audience as well as the judges.
After compiling the scores, the senior couple as well as Monalisa and Vikrant Singh Rajpoot were in the bottom two. However, due to poor votes, Utkarsha Naik and Manoj Verma had to leave the Nach platform. It was an enjoyable episode with birthday celebrations and funny antiques. But we do feel bad for the couple who had to leave the show.
