The ace music composer has now decided to go solo without Shravan Rathod
Nadeem-Shravan has been one of the most iconic music composer pairs since the 1990s. They were responsible for hits like Aashiqui, Sadak, Saajan, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Raaz, Dhadkan, Dil Hai Tumhara and many many more. But the iconic duo parted ways in 2005 and all attempts of any reconciliation have proved futile.
Grapevine has it that Nadeem Saifi is back in the music composing business and this time he will go solo. His partner Shravan Rathod has composed for a few films alone since they broke up but nothing among them was noticeable. Our khabroos inform that Nadeem's first film as a solo composer, Ishq Forever, will be the directorial debut of Vidya Malvade's husband, Sanjay Dayma. If we recall, there was news about Nadeem making a comeback with Guddu Dhanoa's next film, but that project is still on the hold. Also, he was in talks with the Bhatt camp for composing music for some of their films, but nothing among them have taken any definitive shape.
Nadeem keeps shuttling between Dubai and London since the time he was convicted in the Gulshan Kumar murder case. Thus, Dayma, along with lyricist Sameer, flew down to Dubai to meet the composer and finalise the deal. Speaking to a leading daily Nadeem informed, "Ishq Forever will be my first film without Shravan. There are six songs and I hope to recreate the magic of the '90s. The film is produced by Shabbir Boxwalla with whom I had worked in Dil Ka Rishta and have been friends since."
It is always great to have such a melodious genius make a comeback into the music industry. We hope his second innings run successfully and he gives us some more chartbusting numbers to remember him for ages to come.
