Mohanlal's Randomoozham aka Mahabharata is one of the most top talked about projects across industries because of its grandeur scale and budget. While the film had us already excited, the latest development only further makes us believe how big this film is going to be. As per reports on Indian Express, Nagarjuna has been approached to play Karna's role in the mythological drama. “Director Sukumaran had initiated the talks with me some time ago for Karna’s role. But, nothing is finalised yet and I’m not too sure how long does it take for things to shape up,” stated the actor as per reports. While the actor has confirmed the news, we are now awaiting an official confirmation.With respect to other characters, Sreekumar Menon had revealed that he wanted Mahesh Babu to play Lord Krishna. So far, only Mohanlal has been officially confirmed for the role of the central character - Bheem, the book written by MT Vasudevan Nair, is narrated form this character's perspective. The film's budget is a whopping Rs 1000 crores; it's bank rolled by a UAE businessman BR Shetty. The film reportedly will go on floors in 2018 and Part 1 is expected in to release in 2020. Part 2 will release within 90 days after Part 1's release. The film will be helmed by Sreekumar Menon, who also happens to be directing Mohanlal for another ambitious project - Odiyan.
Randamoozham will be the biggest project across industries as it release in five languages and more. Several top actors right form Mammootty, Prithviraj, Manu Warrier, Mahesh Babu, Amitabh Bachchan are int he running for the various characters in the film.
Bahaubali 2; The conclusion has opened the doors for directors to take on novel concepts and execute them on a grand scale. Here's hoping Randamoozham will standard cinema several notches higher.
