After a long time, Rockstar actress Nargis Fakhri returned to India for her professional commitments. The actress was back in the bay for the promotions of her film, Amavas. However, recently it was being reported Nargis opted out of the promotions mid-way and left the country, leaving producers worried. The reason for the same was rumoured to be Nargis getting irritated due to the constant questions asked by the media about her breakup with Matt Alonzo and link-up with Uday Chopra. Days after these reports surfaced, Nargis has hit back at the accusations and made a statement.
She stated, "The entire experience promoting this film, albeit brief, has been extremely taxing because of their (producer and the film's team) total lack of communication and planning. They were given seven days for promotions by my team well in time which they used. So I don't know where this debate about my leaving early etc comes in." The actress went on to add that she wasn't updated about the delay in the film's release nor was she told about the promotional activities and plans.
Nargis further added, "Seeing them (the makers) release statements like that about my professional commitment is something that is extremely disheartening and unacceptable when it's the film team who haven't held up their end of the bargain." We wonder what the makers have to say now. Meanwhile, Amavas directed Bhushan Patel is set to release on February 8. Apart from Nargis, the movie's star cast includes Mona Singh, Vivan Bhatena, Sachiin Joshi and Ali Asgar.
