What about our homeland?
B-town personalities like Nargis Fakhri, Karan Johar, etc tweeted about the Paris attacks but didn’t comment on the terrible floods in Chennai!
Tragedies are tragedies, whether they are created by man or nature. But do we react more strongly to events around the world then those back home? Ironically, it is an actress who brought this to out notice. She pointed out that Bollywood personalities offered condolences to victims in Paris and didn’t say a word about the terrible floods in their homeland.
It was a black day for France on November 13, 2015, when Paris was attacked by terrorists. Three gunmen caused havoc with mass shootings and suicide bombings at popular cafes, music venues and restaurants in the city. Nearly 130 people were killed during this massacre.

The waves of the Paris attacks were felt in India as well, where B-town celebs and politicians took to Twitter and tweeted about the inhuman occurrence. Actresses like Sonam and Alia who are known to be vocal about such incidents, took to Twitter and voiced their disgust, grief, regarding the Paris attacks. Along with these two ladies, other B-town celebs, directors and singers too tweeted on the same.
