By now its known to all that Sonam Kapoor will be portraying the role of the late Neerja Bhanot in a biopic directed by Ram Madhwani. As per the latest update, Atul Kasbekar along with Fox Star Studious will produce the Sonam starrer.
Talking about this development, the ace photographer said, "Yes, I will be co-producing the film along with Fox Star Studios." Sonam Kapoor will be playing the title role of the late Neerja Bhanot, in this biopic directed by Ram Madhwani. As far as the other casting details are concerned, Atul maintains, "We are still in the finalising process."
For those who do not know, Neerja Bhanot was a senior flight attendant who saved lives of 360 passengers on the Pan Am flight, when it was hijacked in Karachi in 1986. At 23, she went on to become the youngest and first woman to receive the 'Ashok Chakra'.
