The new year has started and television producers are already gearing up to start 2015 with new shows

Production houses are approaching channels to showcase their ideas and the casts to pre-book a prime time slot for their shows. Khatron Ke Khiladi 6: This year Rohit Shetty has taken a new set of contestants to Cape Town for some action filled dares and double dares. Contestants include Rashami Desai, Nandish Sandhu, Sagarika Ghatge, Ridhi Dogra, Sana Khan, Iqbal Khan, Siddharth Bhardwaj, Nathalia Kaur, Meiyang Chang, Archana Vijaya, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Aashish Chaudhary, Harshad Arora and Asha Negi. Masterchef India 4: We’ve got hooked to the MasterChef Australia and the Indian version is just as exciting as it’s counterpart. Like the previous season, Sanjeev Kapoor has been signed as the judge of the show. Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat: Colors is coming up with a new show based on the life of Emperor Ashoka. The makers have also roped in Pallavi Subhash and Siddharth Nigam.

Dance India Dance Super Moms 2: Last season, the dance reality show was a big hit with the kids and their mothers. The channel hopes to repeat the magic of dancing moms on screen with the season 2.

Nawaab - The Great Indian Family Drama: On January 3, Sab TV is all set to launch this comedy weekend show, which revolves around a character who doesn’t like to work. He prefers to live in his world of fantasies.

Nach Baliye 7: The couple dance reality show is back. After last year where Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi won the trophy, this year the makers have roped in some really interesting couples this year. Some of the names floating in the media circuit include Mohit Raina-Mouni Roy, Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgal and Ruslaan Mumtaz-Nirali.

Hotel: Gaurav Chopra and Akanksha Singh have been signed for the show which will revolve around the running of the hotel and it is heard that the daily soap will be aired on Star Plus.

Ganga: In the month of January or February, Zee TV will be airing a new show starring Hiten Tejwani and Niranjan.

Hospital: Produced by Endemol, this show is rumoured to be loosely based on Grey’s Anatomy. Apparently, Veebha Anand and Shritama Mukherjee have been roped in for the show on doctors and surgeons.

Playtime Productions’ new show: Paresh Rawal and Hemal Thakkar are coming together for a finite show with about 26 episodes. However, more details about the theme and storyline of the show are yet to be revealed.

BBC Worldwide’s new show: The producers are in talk with Star Plus for this action show. The cast of the show is yet to be finalised.

Sobo films’s new show: In 2014, they came up with a unique reality show called Mission Sapne. This year the production is focusing on a legal soap. The cast is undecided.

Man Marziya: The makers claim that Man Marziya is a temporary name of the show. They’ve already signed Monica Bedi for the lead role.
