Nishikant Kamat has directed a lot of intriguing films, but his next will be one of his biggest pieces of work. Rocky Handsome, starring John Abraham and Shruti Hassan, is a kind of film that he has never done before. He mentions that the film has a lot of contact and oriental action sequences. But, an action film with John is something that he has done earlier too. So, during an EXCLUSIVE chat with BollywoodLife, the director mentioned about his equation with John Abraham.
He said, "John has evolved a lot as an actor since Force. He had his apprehension about his performance, but now he has improved a lot. I know his strengths and I play to one strengths. I have shot with him for 110 days during Force and more than 90 days during Rocky Handsome, so when you work with some one for nearly 200 days, you obviously form a bond with them."
Nishikant Kamat had recently directed the critically acclaimed film, Drishyam starring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu. He is currently working simultaneously on Rocky Handsome, Madaari and a film based on a period love story with Vikram Malhotra.
