Isn't that shocking, especially since the two have collaborated several times?
We all know Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut aren't on great terms and they have been giving each other a cold shoulder since the Tanu Weds Manu Returns success party. But now that Deepika is in Toronto shooting for xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage along with Vin Diesel, Kangana is benefiting from this. We had revealed to you earlier that Deepika may lose out on many Bollywood projects due to xXx and it seems our prediction might just have come true.
As per rumours, Deepika's close friend Homi Adajania has offered Kangana a role in his next film. The film was supposed to star Deepika, but it seems that Kangana is Homi's new choice. However, it might just be because the Bajirao Mastani actress is busy shooting for her Hollywood venture. The director had worked with DP in Cocktail and Finding Fanny, before collaborating again for the My Choice video, but with the actress shooting in Toronto and with the unavailability of a few other top actresses, he has approached his friend's rival Kangana. And now according to a popular entertainment portal, the Rangoon actress is set accept the filmmaker's offer. So, looks like DP just lost a big project to Kangana due to xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage.
The cold war between the two actresses began when Deepika did not turn up for the special screening of Tanu Weds Manu Returns. The Bajirao Mastani actress had said that she would come, but didn't show up at the screening, which angered the TWMR actress. Later on, the latter walked out her film's success party after DP walked in. Since then the actresses are having a war of words and things have become ugly.
