The day we have been waiting for is finally here! The much awaited NTR biopic has finally been launched on a grand scale. Vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu made his presence felt at the launch of this biopic. Nandamuri Balakrishna was dressed as Duryodhana for the first shot. Celebs form Tollywood also made it to the event. all in all, it was a grand launch befitting for a movie based on an iconic personality. NTR was not only a legendary artists but also a renowned politicians. He left a lasting impression in both fields that he entered. With a life as remarkable as his, his biopic would be much awaited by fans. Stepping into his shoes is Nandamuri Balakrishna, who will essay his father on screen. The film will be directed by Teja of Nene Raju Nene Mantri fame. The film will be co-produced by - Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Vardhan Induri. "NTR had changed the face of Telugu cinema and put the interest of all Telugus in his heart when he took the plunge into politics. He was the one who gave recognition to the Telugu community at the national stage and he will always be an icon for us. Though normally, Presidents or Vice Presidents don't attend film events, I decided to come because of the respect I have for NTR." said M Venkaiah Naidu as per reports on Times Of India.
There were earlier reports of Ram Gopal Varma making a biopic as well. But his announcement stirred controversy as he was set to narrate the tale from his second wife's point of view. For those who don't know, NTR's second marriage to Lakshmi was not taken well by his family, so much so he was ousted from his own political party
