Nushrratt Bharuccha is a popular Indian actress who has been ruling hearts with her powerful performances in Bollywood films. She has gained massive recognition for her comedic timing and versatile acting skills. She has made a special place in fans' hearts with some notable films, including Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Dream Girl, and Chhorii. In an interview, the actress has recently opened up about her experience in the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama, sharing interesting insights about her role as Neha.
Nushrratt mentioned that playing the manipulative and controlling girlfriend was challenging, as it was quite different from her real-life personality. Interestingly, many people advised her against taking the film due to its all-new cast and crew, however, she believes Pyaar Ka Punchnama marked her on the industry map and created a unique identity for her.
In the interview with Hauterrfly, Nushrratt revealed details about her bikini scene in the film. As per the actress, she has never learned acting, and whatever she experiences in a real-life, she is amazingly able to portray it on the screen. However, Nushrratt never wore a bikini and was uncomfortable for the scene that demanded the same.
Talking about her concerns, Nushrratt said that she openly had a chat with the director Luc Ranjan about the same. She told him that she has never worn a bikini and will not be comfortable performing the scene in it, which will clearly be seen on screen in her performance. To make the scene look real and natural, she has to accept it from within. To go out of her comfort zone, Nushrratt adopted a unique method.
Nushrratt revealed that she went on an international solo trip as it was not possible to roam around openly wearing a bikini in India. She further said that she wore a bikini continuously from day to night for three days. She used to be in a bikini in the hotel, in the pool, on the beach, everywhere she went to be comfortable in herself.
Talking about the same, Nushrratt said that she did this deliberately so that she could break her thinking and the taboos inside herself. She wanted to tell herself that roaming around in a bikini is not a big deal. As per Nushrratt, in the middle of the second day, she realized that for so long she had been roaming around only in a bikini, and now it had started to feel normal. She felt – ‘yes, this is what I am wearing, what is the big deal in it?'
