Rani Mukerji has always been a devout. We say this because Rani Mukerji has been personally managing a Durga Puja on a grand scale since many years now. The Mukherjee family puja is a grand affair in the industry since last 67 years. Most times, we see Rani and her cousin Kajol at the family pandal. But this time, Rani will not be a part of the festivities.
Rani married the reticent head honcho of Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra, in a hushed-hushed ceremony in Kolkata about a year ago. We were pleasantly surprised when she was snapped with a much-visible baby bum recently in India and abroad. Rani's marriage, honeymoon and now pregnancy has forever been shrouded in secrecy at her husband's behest.
According to the latest reports, Rani has been flown away from the hustle and bustle of city life for rest. A tabloid reports that the actress did not want to be photographed with a baby bump and is extremely guarded the same, therefore she went out of this country.
The secretary of North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja (which Rani'sfamily hosts every year) Deb Mukherjee confirmed the news to the tabloid and said, "Everybody is invited. The committee does not send out invitations. Rani comes every year and serves the bhog. But I am not sure if she will do it this year."
