Devoleena Bhattacharjee, popularly known as Gopi of Saath Nibhana Saathiya, has reportedly met with an accident and has got injured. The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress had apparently slipped from the staircase of her building, leading to a head injury. She had got a deep cut on her forehead. The actress confirmed her injury and told a news portal “Yes, I have injured myself. I had to get 10 stitches on my forehead."
Being a true professional, she has continued working without taking any medical leave. Considering the current plot of the story and her popularity, the makers could not have afforded her absence from the show so the writers have decided to incorporate her injury in the script.
Surprisingly there is someone else also who will be shown getting hurt in the serial. Paridhi (Lavina Sasan) will disguise as joker to enter Gopi’s house to steal her saree designs but Urmila will catch her. Paridhi and Monica will try to run but Urmila will ask Jay and Veeru to catch hold of them. While trying to escape them, Paridhi will fall on a cylinder and get injured.
Devoleena was also in the news lately for her leaked intimate picture with executive producer Guddu Jha. However she clarified on Facebook later that she had a slip disc problem because of which she couldn’t even move and had to be carried to her vanity. Mr. Jha was around so he carried her on her shoulders to her vanity van.
We hope her latest injury didn’t aggravate her slip disc issues. It’s commendable that inspite of such serious injuries, she has continued working. We wish her a speedy recovery.
