The New Year has indeed started on a bad note for cinema lovers. Om Puri, the actor who left us amazed time and again has left us. He died due to a heart attack and left a huge void in the industry. The news has come as a shocker for everyone and TV celebs took to Twitter to express their anguish. The actor who was known for his massive repertoire of power-packed performances also did a TV film Tamas directed by Govind Nihalani. Actors like Karanvir Bohra, Vivek Dahiya, Kavita Kaushik, Nikita Dutta and others have taken to Twitter to pour on their condolences. While Vivek wrote that he was a trend-setter way ahead of his time, Karan V Grover said that his life would be an inspiration for generations. Mahima Makwana and Nikita Dutta of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste fame said they were lucky to meet the veteran actor.
